Application of dissolved oxygen monitoring in sewage treatment project

PELENS PELENS 2019-09-19 1

& nbsp; at present, sewage and industrial wastewater are mostly treated by aerobic microorganisms, which must be decomposed into carbon dioxide, water and nitrate under aerobic conditions. In the treatment of industrial wastewater by activated sludge process, the determination of dissolved oxygen (free oxygen dissolved in treated water) is usually used to regulate the respiratory and metabolic state of microorganisms, thus speeding up the purification process. However, the dissolved oxygen content of industrial wastewater is generally low, so it is often necessary to use various aeration devices to flush air to meet the microbial oxygen supply. Dissolved oxygen affects microbial metabolism and reproduction. Therefore, controlling dissolved oxygen content can accelerate the oxidation and decomposition process of organic matter. Dissolved oxygen in industrial wastewater treated by activated sludge process is generally controlled at (2-4) mg/L in the aeration zone. Excessive or low dissolved oxygen will affect microbial metabolism and reduce the effect of water treatment.

Excessive dissolved oxygen (more than 4mg/L) will accelerate the consumption of organic substances in sewage, cause the aging of activated sludge due to lack of nutrients, reduce the flocculation performance and adsorption capacity of activated sludge, and too low dissolved oxygen content (less than 1.5mg/L) will inhibit the life activities of microorganisms, leading to the decay and degradation of microorganisms. Bodies and deterioration affect the respiration of microorganisms and the purification ability of activated sludge, resulting in sludge floating, decomposition and expansion.

Therefore, the monitoring of dissolved oxygen is very important in industrial wastewater treatment. Shenzhen Pliocene Union Technology Co., Ltd. has introduced a dissolved oxygen sensor KDS-25B, which is suitable for sewage treatment. The sensor has a long life, simple calibration, good reliability and is almost not affected by acid gases such as CO2. It is good for sewage treatment control and purification process. Helper.

In the process of industrial development, the environment has been greatly polluted. At present, water pollution in China is relatively serious. In order to achieve sustainable development, the state has paid more and more attention to sewage discharge and environment. Companies and enterprises have gradually formed environmental awareness. Sewage treatment is a long-term process of treatment, which has a huge and long history. In the distant market, it is the general trend to monitor and treat sewage scientifically and reasonably.

KDS-25B Dissolved Oxygen Sensor: KDS-25B is an electrochemical dissolved oxygen sensor developed by FIGARO Company of Japan. It does not need preheating and external power supply. The output signal is linear with dissolved oxygen content. It has built-in temperature compensation circuit and can be directly put into water.

Important parameters of sensor:
Measurement range: 0-80mg/L < br />. Accuracy: +5% (full range)
Temperature range: 5-35 < br />. Atmospheric pressure: 81-203kPa (equivalent to 10 m water depth)
Output signal: mV voltage < br />. Response time (T90): about 20S
